Kora stared at Darren, she could not deny that she was surprised by what he had said. He was an Alpha's son and an Alpha heir, how was he an Omega? She asked herself but no words were spoken from her mouth. 

"Say something, my love," Darren said. Her silence was making his beast warry and restless which was affecting him too. "Anything." 

"How were you an Omega?" She asked, not averting her gaze from him. "Your father was an alpha, and you, his heir," she asked. 

"My life was... Let's just say that no one wanted me. Not even my father." He said and for a fleeting moment, he seemed dazed. "Especially my father."
