Capítulo 139: HAND OVER

On the road leading to the Church of the Holy Sepulchre.

The sound of many horses galloping on the cobbled narrow street was heard by the people, and it frightened most of them. Seeing that these horses were carrying armed Knight Templars.

Were they coming to attack the city or ransack it? This and many other fearful questions crossed their minds. The merchants did not stand by to wait for answers, history had taught them to be cautious in such circumstances. They rushed to close their shops and stalls, whatever the answer was, they will know it tomorrow after surviving through the day. It was not only merchants who were frightened of this mounted company, but even normal homeowners on both sides of the street were also. They too immediately closed their doors and windows at the sight of the European warriors in the city.
