Capítulo 177: Hunted by another Predator

Devon took the lead, with Draven, Mathias, and a handful of his crew close behind. He turned back briefly and barked orders to the rest of his crew who had stayed with the ship.

"Keep an eye on that ship. We're not staying any longer than necessary. The moment we return, we sail," he commanded.

With that, they ventured deeper into the rainforest, leaving the shore behind. The forest was dense and dark, with towering trees that seemed to reach for the sky. Thick vines hung down from branches like living curtains, and the air was heavy with humidity.

As they marched forward, Devon's voice cut through the oppressive atmosphere, his words laced with irritation. "Blasted jungle. Why did it have to be this forsaken place?" he muttered in a husky voice, pushing forward with determination despite his grumbling.

Mathias, clearly nervous, asked with a quiver in his voice, "What's in this forest again?"
