I mean, I was honestly enjoying the novel, but starting chapter 112 and 113, there are two many unexplained things. when did the MC get to meet this Chu person? and what company is he calling "my company"? who is sister chen? I'm so confused
I regret reading this one. At some point the system just become irrelevant and the story turns to a entertainment type novel instead of a system novel. There are more drama surrounding the MC and his acting career than # of interactions with the system. Like last half of the book just took a whole different direction from the first half.

It really fall off after 80 chapter or so he can’t even use the money so he’ basically broke all the way
the earliest chapter are very good... after it reach the chapter where he got the money he invest from the system it slowly get annoying.... that's the only beginning... chapter after chapter after that become more and more ridiculous... they love each other, trust to each other but when it comes to financial problem... his girlfriend don't believe that he has the ability to do so / has make money... when she clearly say I believe you... I didn't know the rest.... but I hope the story goes back to their earliest feeling. ....
trash🗑🗑🗑 I didn't have high expectations, but this still managed to lower the bar. when he gets his first return he goes out and buys the most expensive house and car nobody believes he has money then he sells it all to put back in the system to upgrade it and goes back to being homeless. use all your money to buy a mall function you can't use for another year because you're broke, your life is life streamed all day but still the threat of people scamming you because there are no witnesses.
writer lost his mind in between and forget the theme and forget what was he writing. there should be punishment for such writer

It is the novel where Chinese people making fun of a poor and homeless people for acting like a poor by calling him stingy even if they know that he has no money... Also people call that poor thief cause he took some cloths from a donation (and that cloths is donated for poor) . I mean what is the thought process of those guy... I mean do Chinese people don't feel shame or something by writing such illogical things.. And that's too very repetitive...
Dropping this at chapter 118. After 110 when the 3 month show ended up being a year long, MC ends up deciding to “debut” by joining a variety show, FL decides to go off and become an actress and the aspect of her company if thrown out the window. Keep in mind MC decided to join new variety immediately after the previous Sweet Love reality show, he is now said to have been acting for a long time and has been filming a movie that was just suddenly mentioned out of nowhere. The moment Sweet Love ended he received a call to join a new variety show, and yet you’re telling me in that one minute time frame he’s been filming a movie with zero information given to the readers. Not to mention the cashback system has been thrown out as well.
At chapter 111 the story ends. Its like the author changes his/her mind and takes the MC to a parallel world and starts over without the fantasy element. Really confusing.
The story was good until chapter 110. Everything after 110 feels like a different book with the same MC name. I am dropping it here at chapter 115.
Don’t even waste your time, everything was going fine until ch.95 where the system says to unlock the mall he has to spend basically all his money that he earned from the rebate. Meaning he went from broke, rich, to poor again. It’s a pointless cycle that is probably gonna be repeated, I suggest you read something else and don’t waste your ps or coins.
Translation quality: excellent. Almost flawless, actually. Not much to say here. Update stability: excellent and stable. Now that the pluses have been mentioned, it’s time for the negatives. Story development: garbage. Sheer, utter garbage. This is your stereotypical face-slapping wish fulfillment schlock, except faces never get slapped and wishes never get fulfilled as of chapter 95, where I’m writing this review. So you get all of the annoying buildup with none of the satisfying release. Character design: zero effort. None of the characters have any real distinguishing features or thought put into them; they’re all cardboard cutouts of character tropes and archetypes that I’ve seen done better elsewhere. Their motivations are all completely lacking, and I can’t help but wonder if any of them have a brain cell rattling around in the portable vacuums that rest atop their shoulders. World background: atrocious. The story so far has been set in a reality show that follows a number of couples for an entire year, live-streaming everything they do except sleep. None of it is realistic and, while I do think the concept is novel, the execution is lacking to the point where it should be burned at the stake for heresy and crimes against literature. Overall: while the updates are frequent and consistent and the translation quality is excellent, this novel has nothing else going for it in the actual categories that matter. So don’t be fooled by the 2.4-star review score this has gotten from this review, as those two categories skew that rating to a frankly untenable degree. I regret the time I spent reading this and will not be coming back to it.
This story is great but dont read past chapter 95. The author has a great story going then just throws it off a cliff mid way through chapter 95.
the biggest problem I have is that authors always abandon their books like some authors always do but they never just like give it to another author because they are not going to finish it or they post one chapter and they do not go through with it and also they just don't give it to another person

This is one for the books, it's unique, interesting and has fun story that's easy to follow. Ps: Don't think with logic, just read without questioning the logic behind everything, and you'll do just fine.
I can't lie and say it was good when it is basically another novel that torture's your mind and emotions and plus its 81 chapters and that so called transferring 100 million hasn't appeared, this isn't worth my time to read or effort.

I don't care what others say. This man is a legend, he literally ran a mile for a dollar. I can't wait for when the duration of the year is over and he gets all the money.
honestly its amazing. i cant say much as its not some action packed cultivation novel or anything. but its heart warming and entertaining. the characters have depth and emotion, the world seems real. there is a lot of realistic elements to this story. for example the mc has a very rich enemy, on other novels they may spend a lot of money and break many laws or do things that don't make sense. but in this one they are realistic and they don't to crazy outrageous things, but the still try and make his life difficult. also i love a cheapskate. cant wait till he gets the money at the end.
kudos to Mc, i enjoy every bit of this novel , i must confess am more into the female lead character lin xi, its very had to get such a precious royal and loving girl in this planet, she's one of a kind

It's an entertaining story. Can't help but cheer for MC and Lin Xi. The MC's character is developing very well and the other characters are portrayed in a balanced manner. Overall, the story flows quite well. Can hardly wait for its release.
I'm giving this 5 stars ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ for the great synopse that author gave. I'm tired of lazy authors that don't give any information about the book or even a synopse at all. You can't even look at the chapter titles because most of them are just chapter numbers.
Slice of Life isn't even my wheelhouse, but this is strangely compelling. I love it. Keep it up! The MC is incredibly relatable and I love the way you spin the drama into something simple yet believable. The dialogue feels very natural too.
The story was all over the place it's barely readable. The MC was nearly beaten to death twice but he barely though of any counter measures, like getting a body cam for proof. After getting the 4.1 billion yuan from the system, he had to unlock a new shopping feature which cost him 4 billion dollars, and 100 mil went to the piggy bank immediately after upgrading and became broke again. Mc could've saved the 100 mil, and put it on the bank a day before claiming the x10000 reward. Better yet, he could've saved 4 billion, wait a year, get 40 trillion and only then unlock the shop. 100 mil is more than enough to survive for an entire year. In story, Mc is "forced" to unlock the shop and buy a fighting skill which cost 500k. Even then, he still have 99 mil to spare. Assuming he even need 9 million to live comfortably, he could still have 990 billion at the end of year. All he needed to do is keeping a low profile but no, he suddenly became a part time actor, and suddenly switch a program planner. Mc scraped for an entire year with the motivation that he would live comfortably the following year but made questionable choices along the way. Even weirder is when Lin Xi also became an actor even though her designer company barely survived a crisis. Her dream is also to a become top designer which made it even more confusing.
