There was no helping it, so the next day, Gao Guang had to wait early in the company office.

Then at nine o'clock sharp—not a minute more, not a second less—the phone in Gao Guang's office rang.

This landline would ring about once every six months, and Gao Guang was somewhat unused to answering it, but he heard a person speaking very respectfully, "Hello, may I speak with Mr. Mad Dog?"

"Speaking."

"I'm Harvey Moreno, manager of Americana Express. I've brought Kevin to Los Angeles. Could you tell me when you're available? Additionally, may I visit you?"
