Savannah and her large group of friends met outside by a building that had a parking lot off to the side. Standing within the parking lot from behind them, Savannah recognized Rose, Sharlene, Mia, and the larger group of vampiresses who were there with them. To the front of Savannah's group were Kai, John, and Evan, and their clans had all encircled them. One of the first things Kai noticed was that none of them were scared even though they had been surrounded. Even though they had the vampiresses from Rex's clan snared didn't mean they couldn't escape from them. Hunters were known for their incredible speed. Right now, Kai couldn't afford for that to transpire, nor could he allow any of the vampires to be detained by these females because he needed them all to face the ultimate battle with Rex.
"Where's Victoria?" Rose asked as she glared at the large group of vampiresses.
Merely taking her eyes off the alphas and their clans, Savannah twisted her head just enough to see Rose wasn't pregnant since she noticed her body was slender.
"Aw, did you finally have your little one? How sad! You never invited me to the baby shower." Savannah mockingly remarked to avoid answering her question.
Deep in his chest, Ace rumbled a low growl far across from Rose. He didn't like it when Savannah said such a sarcastic remark to his wife.
"Enough of your games, Savannah! Tell us where Victoria is at?" Rose hissed, and Savannah mockingly laughed with her friends.
"Where's the fun in that?" Savannah giggled as the length of her sardonic smile stretched into a conniving grin.
"Predatory species never know how to have fun," Nina mocked to insult them, which earned Savannah and her friends to hear a lot of low-pitched growling from everyone on Kai's side.
Tricks and schemes are what the Hunter species were best known to do in their annoying games.
"You tell me where my wife is at right now, and we won't hurt you that badly," Kai roared as he was getting sick of their games.
Savannah derisively laughed at him for the threat. "It's time to move on because Victoria is no longer yours," she suggestively taunted him with her satirical aura.
"If you wish to do this the hard way, then we will do it the hard way," Jack hissed between Kai and Ace.
Savannah grinned as her eyes flickered a scintillating allure. "If you wanna tango again like last time, Jack. Then let's play a game. Shall we see how many marriages I can ruin in under a minute? All you sexy vampires are to kneel to my beauty." Her seductive enchantment sang to all the males like a mermaid calling them to the sea.
Around the cleavage on her smutty tightly fitted dress, Savannah undid two buttons to expose her sexy pink-laced bra as she smirked and then waited.
For any vampires that had a destined mate and the ones who were in love, Savannah's enchantment didn't even affect them because their ears naturally blocked her alluring song. However, it wasn't like that for those who were mateless because a ton of them didn't have a destined mate, nor were they in love.
Knees shook as the unmated vampires began to feel weakened by her enchantment. Between Jack and Ivan, Rome sweated bullets as he growled to keep his knees from folding onto the pavement. Until one by one, the unmated vampires, with Rome being amongst them, bit their lips as they dropped to their shaky knees.
To Kai's surprise, neither Jack nor John or a handful of others did not heed her voice. Not even Evan was affected by her because his heart belonged to Tilly. Kai could only guess who Jack loved while he hoped John better love his cousin Ava since they were in an arranged marriage that he agreed upon.
Moreover, to Kai's shock, a handful of married vampires gritted their teeth to stay on their feet before they too fell onto their knees. Overall, he was rather bewildered because a lot of the vampires he would've put his money on to yield Savannah were the ones on their knees, while the ones he predicted would fall to Savannah's charm were actually the ones who resisted her with ease. In all honesty, he genuinely didn't foresee this one coming.
Out of each clan between Kai's, Evan's, and John's a good handful of married vampires were on their knees, which brought nothing but despair to the vampiresses who were married to them, or if they were dating.
Unbearable screeching hissed from the vampiresses when they saw their husbands or boyfriends had heeded Savannah's enchantment. Sure, the vampires may have a loving connection with their spouses, but it wasn't strong enough to withstand Savannah's enchantment.
"Oops, did I ruin a few marriages? Sorry, I seem to have that sort of effect on males," Savannah crudely taunted the vampiresses with her impish smirk without glancing back at them from behind her and her friends. After all, they were sure to keep their focus on the vampires at all angles, towards them.
The vampiresses were devastated and hurt beyond measurement in their hearts. This was a low blow on Savannah's part.
Kai already knew the vampiresses' hearts carried deeper emotions that weren't veiled like the vampires, making this a harder hit for them.
One after another, the vampiresses from everyone's clans started to take off from the unspeakable heartache that had been unveiled to them.
"Love is so fickle," Nina remarked with a laugh as she waved the vampiresses goodbye as they left crying from their bleeding hearts. "Bye-bye, sweeties."
Standing between Sharlene and Leah was Eva, Sharlene's younger sister by two years was also one of the vampiresses who witnessed her husband kneel to Savannah. Like the other vampiresses, Eva was in grave devastation to see her husband on his knees while his tranced ogling eyes couldn't stop kissing every inch of Savannah's voluptuous body.
They weren't destined mates, but they did fall in love, and had a family together, but now to know their love wasn't as strong as she had thought had ruined her. The feeling was rather indescribable for Eva.
"Please stand your ground, Eva. We need you. Victoria needs you." Sharlene tried to stop her younger sister from leaving.
They needed everyone's help to stand against Savannah and her friends, but the conflicting pain was too much for Eva to bear. Seeing how her husband had kneeled to Savannah only meant their love as un-fated lovers wasn't staunch between them as a married couple. In tears, she was the next to vanish.
In less than a minute, Kai's numbers plummeted quicker than he had envisioned, which he couldn't afford to happen.
"Looks like your army isn't any match for me," Savannah's snide remark taunted Kai as he clutched his fists.
