Capítulo 54: Being quiet.

The night was quiet and so were they. Looking into each other's eyes examining their appearances. The couple found themselves in the perfect mood to have a serious discussion...except that they had different topics to share.

"So," the two said at the same time and an awkward silence arises once again. Ayana looked at Eric's drunk eyes and thought it would be better if she could give him some water at the very least.

She carefully lifted herself but a large hand over her belly stopped her in doing so. With a body still bed at an angle, she turned her head around instantly to look at that drowsy face.

"What is it? I'll bring that." He said in his deep cold voice but strangely it has more warmth than the air. A bit taken aback for a moment, Ayana managed to get his hands off her stomach and pointed at her injured leg swinging sideways in mid air to show that they were working just fine.
