Capítulo 127: A Fraud

Cynthia was playing with baby John as he was having tummy time, she kept cheering him on as he was trying to move his little neck from one side to the other, when he was finally able to do that, she started clapping and laughing as if he had just solved one of the world's greatest mysteries.

Mrs. Edinburgh watched their interaction with loving eyes, she didn't have children of her own, but she loved Cynthia exactly like a mother loved her daughter. Watching her react to John and how Mrs. Edinburgh used to react to a baby Cynthia was nostalgic.

Cynthia caressed the fuzzy hairs on her baby's head and then gave his back a big kiss.

"How come you always smell so good?! Mommy wants to eat you my little apple pie!"
