Alex fastened several layers of insulation plywood that he had made himself under his feet at this point, and he proceeded to step on the road that was emitting hot steam like a swamp.
He pulled the hood up to his eyebrows in order to protect his eyes from the burning sun, which can cause ultraviolet damage if it comes into contact with them. He let out a small gasp while holding the kettle, which contained only a third of the total amount of pure water.

After Alex had done some digging inside the vehicle, he discovered two strange skeletons lying in front of the two drivers and the co-driver.
They ought to have passed away instantly following a car accident, which is also the happier kind of passing.
When Alex first got into the car, the first thing she did was look in all of the compartments to see if there was any food that she could eat to restore her physical strength or if there were any tools that she could use. If necessary, she would eat food that had been out of date for at least five years.

Alex, who was feeling helpless at the time, was forced to take a brief rest in this broken van first, wait for a while, and then go to a small forest by the road to see if he can hunt any small prey there.
Of course, the so-called small prey, the ones that are the smallest, won't have arms that are anything less than thick and long.
In the event that you come across mutant mammals, the only option available to you as an individual is to flee.
Alex, on the other hand, has recently acquired some special abilities and may have the ability to use them effectively in combat.

He was able to pick up the sound of a motorcycle and identified it.
The first thing that came to mind for Madison was not to approach the rider of a motorcycle and ask for a ride, but rather to quickly lie down after jumping off the seat and make an effort to keep himself out of the other person's line of sight.

Alex could make out, through the cracks in the broken rear-view mirror, a few powerful men approaching this location on vintage motorcycles that had been modified with modern components. They wore sunshade helmets and leather jackets in a punk-style.
When the motorcycle went over bumps, the thick iron chains that were dangling from the surface of their clothing caused the metal bumps of tinkling cymbals to hit against each other.
They also installed a track-like metal chain on the tyre surface in advance in order to reduce the contact area with the hot road in order to prevent the wheels from being damaged on the nearly melted asphalt road. This was done in order to prevent the wheels from being scraped.
Alex clenched his right hand around the dagger, and he placed the tips of his fingertips on the crossbow trigger that he had taken from the collar. He aimed the crossbow at the window.
