Capítulo 18: Chapter 18: Bar Brawl

The three men glared at us, and I could tell they were also werewolves. They were all wearing leather jackets and denim vests, and the leader of the trio had shoulder-length and messy brown hair.

The other two both had slippery smiles and shaved blonde heads, and I figured they were twin brothers.

My heart raced and Jasper rose from his seat and put himself right in front of me.

In the most arrogant tone, the thug leader said, “I don’t enjoy repeating myself. Get away from our table.”

Kingsley rested the pool cue over his shoulders.

“Come on, fellas,” Kingsley said nonchalantly. “Ease up. Nobody wants trouble here.”

Jasper looked like he was ready to pounce, but still he said, “Yeah. Why don’t we get you boys a pitcher of beer, and we all take it easy?”

The leader looked at his two cronies with a dumb grin on his face.

“What do you think, guys?” the leader asked, his patronizing driving me nuts.
