Cillian walked to the emperor's study when he called on him. He entered when the guards opened the doors. Cillian bowed.

"Your majesty."

Tianlin stood up and faced him. He caressed his cheek with a frown.

"Didn't you get some rest?"

"Not much."

Tianlin knows that he has a lot on his plate.

"You must be stressed with Luoyang in your back, but you don't have to worry anymore."

Cillian asked:

"What does his majesty mean?"

"We've received correspondence between him and another minister. He wants the empire and Min kingdom to go to war, so he can rule the entire land. After he kills us and Xinyu, of course."

Cillian looked down. The reason he hasn't implicated the Shan yet is that he wants to deal with them one at a time.

Tianlin said:

"Our guards are waiting for him in front of his house, to arrest him. Once he's trialed, he'll be executed."

Cillian nodded. Tianlin lifted his head.
