Capítulo 36: 2.18 Battle royal

Delilah took a seat next to the emperor. Her hand trembled slightly in anger when she smelled that Esdras was bonded to Cillian. She had already heard the news this morning but to actually smell it is different.

When they married she understood why he was reluctant since she was married to his brother. Over time she proved her loyalty to him but he still refused. Now not only did he bond with a human but he dispersed his harem for him too.

Asher almost killed her yesterday for saying something bad about Cillian when he's been sleeping with Esdras this whole time. For some reason, Asher is blindly in love with him just like Esdras.

In any case, he'll die today. Since Asher doesn't want Cillian to die he changed his battle with Jude. Instead of fighting Cillian Jude will be fighting one of the strongest vampires in the competition.

She's sure Asher told him to kill Jude so Cillian will never know he planned on having him killed too.
