The smokescreen tore open as the massive head of the serpent-type rock behemoth, twice Derek's size, flew at him, its hollow eye sockets brought to life by a bright red flash.

Boom!

Derek remained stationary like an immovable wall as the collusion happened, his cold gaze unfazed by the pathetic attack of the enemy.

Hmph!

Bang!

Derek tightened his grip, digging his fingers into the skull of the massive beast, causing web-shaped cracks to spread across the head of the rock behemoth.

It struggled fiercely, its snake-like body lashing around violently as it tried to break free of Derek's grip, but it couldn't. The physical strength of the small human was akin to that of a dragon. 

Buzz!

Suddenly, the beast froze up, its eyes lighting up with malicious intentions. Its massive mouth yanked open and when it let out an eerie cry.

"Shhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!"
