Gerald and the other Gyro officials present were shaken by Damon's words. Coming here to see Damon consciously making efforts to protect Gerald, they thought for a moment an alliance between the blood mountain and the Gyro Kingdom could be possible with Gerald as a medium but Damon turned from an angel to a demon the very moment his request was rejected.

"Damon, I apologize for my inability to repay your kindness but the Gyro Kingdom is not mine to give. Not even the son of heaven can give it out!" Gerald said with his fists cupped and his face lowered but even then Damon's eyes remained fierce.

"I understand you have your reasons but I too have a reason for my request. We have no hope of winning against the enemy while divided. We are going against the United force as different parties. If we don't gather together we will lose" Damon said.

"Then we can form a coalition army! There is no need for you to take control over all the kingdoms!" Gerald refused with a firm gaze.
