"I need to speak with Cora alone," Ambrosia said, not even bothering to look at her son as she settled herself into one of the chairs and proceeded to ask for tea from one of her attendants.
Grayson looked at the naive girl who now sat in a chair as well. If only he could warn her not to mention questions about their original names or her theories behind why Ambrosia wanted certain people dead. He wasn't sure how much the Queen would tolerate from her, and right now Cora was getting her way. He would prefer for it to stay that way for her sake.
When he didn't immediately leave, Cora glanced at him nervously. Clearly she had hit on something important with Nelo. She had never seen Grayson's expression change so quickly, but now it was back to normal and he looked reluctant to leave.
