It quickly became clear where Cora was headed in her sleep-induced state. 

The palace was enormous, but the girl seemed to be led by some kind of innate knowledge about its layout. There was no way that she had been here enough times to know where she was going—she had never even been to this area of the palace before today. Grayson was sure of it. And yet… and yet she was navigating it so well. 

She passed through the halls and down staircases, taking turns without any hesitation. It was amusing. He smirked as he followed her until it became a mixture of both amusing and startling, because she was obviously headed to the dungeon, and she was taking the most indirect, obscure route possible.
