Capítulo 303: A haunting challenge

The following morning, as Kelly woke up to the dull droning of her alarm, her eyes fell on her communication bracelet. She had missed three calls from U, and one from X. 

Rubbing the sleep from her drowsy eyes, Kelly stretched herself out with a lazy yawn before putting on her slippers and making her way to the bathroom. The refreshing kiss of the cold water upon her drooling face reminded her of the fresh streams in her homeland.

Even after spending so many weeks in Olympus, she hadn't gotten used to the caffeine pills and espresso shots. Back in Psionis she always used to be woken up by the prayer bell in the morning, but out here in this glass jungle, credits were the only deities they worshipped.

After a quick shower and a change of clothes, Kelly called X back, but he didn't pick up. Strangely enough, it was the same with U.
