Thanks to Neon's example, the captured fella was able to figure out enough to know what and who Lora was trying to refer to upon mentioning the name of Artemis. He still had no clue who she was and what she meant to him however. After all, the hidden place that he was raised in lies a completely different continent. 

The guy did say that he had only recently escaped the organization, which should mean that the place that he had been raised in was somewhere within the city that Artemis is currently in now but wasn't in the past.
