Hearing this was a Pleiadian City, I expected every person to be tall, pale, ethereal beauties like Dax and Qixu; however, the city was full of various humanoid species.

For instance, we passed a food vendor run by a tall, bald humanoid with greyish, pale skin and almond-shaped black eyes that followed Dax and me as we passed with reverence. In fact, most people who caught sight of him seemed to hold the same reverence for the man. 

Even Orcs, including children with their adorable fluffy ears and tails, mingled in the heaving, busy market street. 

"Wonderful isn't it?" He smiled warmly at seeing my reaction to the mixing pot of species thriving in seclusion. 

"Yes," I breathed heavily, my hand resting on my empty stomach. What a world I could have shared with my Izzy. 

"General," a bubbly youth in synthetic-looking armor ran up to us, "the council is waiting for you."
