Capítulo 36: Saitama vs Plastic Man

"…the fate of the world is-" was the last thing that Patrick O'Brian, aka Plastic Man, heard from his fellow Justice League Member before his communicator abruptly cut out. Within the cargo bay of a globemaster jet that was circling the tropical island, the malleable hero smiled confidently as he leapt from 50,000 feet without a parachute, where he nosedived towards the lush green jungles below while stretching and shaping his body into a Human javelin using his powers.

"I squashed the bug man!" Saitama announced to Dabi, before turning back towards his mansion. "Geez, I gave this world the option of relative peace, and this is how they repay me? Not gonna lie, that pisses me off…hehehe.."

"Well, what do you plan on doing about it? Because-" was all that the flame villain was able to get out, before something small landed a short distance away from the duo. His hand igniting in blue fire, Dabi spun around to watch as a black-haired man donning sunglasses and a bizarre, red suit that cut off above his knees, began to rise out of the bushes.

"Sorry to drop in, folks, but I'm here to save a friend of mine!" Plastic Man announced cheerfully.

"Prominence burn!" Dabi yelled as he wasted no time in dousing the area in searing blue flame.

"Ouch, that's hot!" the hero yelled as he twisted and contorted his body so that it stretched out of the way of the stream of fire. "You trying to melt me here, candle boy?"

His arm twisting into a spiral, Plastic Man reared his noodly limb back and socked Dabi in the face, sending him flying backwards.

"I'm getting real tired of being hit today," the flame villain hissed as he rubbed his chin, before a blur of motion sped by him while Saitama raced at the peculiar man.

"Let's see you bend your way around this!" the caped baldy exclaimed as he punched the elastic hero at point-black range.

Plastic Man flew far into the jungle as he demolished any tree in his path, before coming to a halt after slamming into one of the distant mountains.

"What a hit!" the hero's voice echoed in the distance, before he promptly reappeared after sling-shotting himself out of the jungle and landing in front of the two villains. "Hate to break it to you, baldy, but you can break and hit me as much as you like, but it won't do a thing. Plastic Man is the name, and frustrating bad guys like you is my game!"

"Plastic Man eh? I wanna see how far you can stretch!" Saitama smirked, before vanishing as he whipped past the hero.

Having grown accustomed to snatching the limbs of his opponents, the caped baldy had attempted to sever Plastic Man's arm, only to find that the thing had stretched with him several hundred meters away.

"Yeaahhh not gonna work, buddy," the hero chuckled as his stretched arm began to melt away, before tying itself around Saitama's own flexed arm. Pulling on the limb, Plastic Man put the villain in a vice grip as he squeezed harder and harder.

"Hehe, that tickles!" the bald clown laughed as he watched his foe's arm go thinner and thinner as it squeezed his own arm with enough pressure to snap solid steel in half. "Well, the tests continue I guess! Consecutive Normal Punches, go!"

Yanking the superhero forward, Saitama flung the elastic man into the air and sent a barrage of super-powered punches at him. As the almighty blows slammed into his malleable body, Plastic Man's was knocked into several different shapes as it was repeatedly mashed by each mountain-crushing attack.

Falling back to Earth in the shape of a blob, the oddball hero promptly reformed himself back into his normal human form, completely unharmed.

"I told you, buddy, that isn't going to-"

"Serious Series: Serious Punch!" Saitama grinned as he threw a slightly more powerful attack at Plastic Man, which obliterated the mountain that was directly behind them and added yet another gargantuan scar to Dominica.

Thinking that his latest move had vaporized the hero, the caped baldy turned to the side to see a tiny, red-colored thread that seemed to be attached to a nearby tree. Looking closer, Saitama realized that the razor-thin thread was actually one of Plastic Man's limbs, and that the strange man had managed to hang on to their location despite being blasted thousands of miles away by the Earth-shattering blow. The thread began to retract, where it promptly grew thicker as the malleable hero sling-shotted himself right back again.

"As much as I appreciate the free trip, I have work to do over here!" Plastic Man laughed as he launched himself at the bald clown. His body becoming thinner than paper, he wrapped himself around Saitama and bound his body with enough tightness to anchor a rocket ship.

"Well is this ever snug," the caped baldy snorted with amusement as he hopped in place with his arms pinned to his sides by the living rope. "And I thought my grandma gave tight hugs!"

Bracing his knees, Saitama created a small crater beneath him as he blasted into the sky with enough force to put him well beyond Earth's orbit.

"Uhhhh…where are we going?" Plastic Man asked as his elongated head watched the ground grow farther and farther away as they blasted off into space. "You know I can still survive up here, right?"

"I figured, so I'm taking you with me to the sun! I'm curious to see what it does to you!" the villain laughed evilly as his trajectory began to carry them towards the nearby star.

"Umm…well it's a good thing that I brought my sunglasses!" the hero laughed nervously as the heat began to increase already.

Humming to himself as his shiny scalp began to reflect the growing sunlight, Saitama could feel the stretchy man's tight hold on him begin to loosen as they approached the flaming ball of gas.

"Shit, I need to find something to grab onto," Plastic Man thought to himself as he searched the cosmos for something, any size of meteor to latch onto. Although the sun would melt him to a point, it wouldn't actually kill him, but it would make fighting extremely difficult.

"Sun, sun, mister golden sun heheh," Saitama began to sing. "Please shine down on, please shine down on, me!"

Facing temperatures that reached thousands of degrees, the caped baldy continued on as Plastic Man began to droop over his body while the intense heat caused his grip to become even looser. Grasping the superhero's body, Saitama continued humming to himself as he pulled the man's face back, before aiming him like a Human slingshot directly at the star.

"Serious Series: Fun Shot!" the villain snickered as he let go, causing Plastic Man to fire into the sun like a living projectile.

"Shit, shit, shit!" the hero muttered as his body became near-liquid as it basked in the scorching heat, where he promptly impacted a plasma river in the gargantuan fire ball. "N-no, wait, come back! Dammit baldy, don't leave me here!"

Saitama mercilessly left Plastic Man to sink beneath the surface of the sun, where he leap-frogged off a solar flare before aiming back to a now-distant blue dot.

"It's not enough to simply take a hit from me," the grey-suited man grinned as he vaulted off the pillar of fire. "Get back to me when you can actually land a solid blow of your own. Until then, enjoy your new home, I hear the weather is great. Plenty of sunshine! HAHAHA"
