Yasmin arrived at the Sweet and Savory café where Grace had asked her to come. She discovered her at a table next to the glass wall. She walked over, taking a deep breath.

"Hi…" she greeted her with a smile.

Grace, who was dazedly staring out the glass wall, turned to face her. "Oh, you have arrived." She rose to her feet and drew her into a warm embrace. "Good to see you."

"How are you, Grace?"

"I am all right," Grace delightfully replied. "Please take your seat."

They sat down across from each other.

As Yasmin examined Grace more closely, she noticed she had lost a few pounds. She could see how pale she had turned as if she didn't have enough blood in her veins. Even her flawless makeup couldn't hide it.

She grew concerned about her. "Why do you appear so pale?" she asked. "You have lost weight as well. Are you okay?"
