"If he really wanted to kill you, then you would not have been here!" Oli looked at the crying girl and sighed.

  She had never thought even in her dreams that she would console Ophelia while taking the side of Tavern. She should be glad that they have finally been separated but looking at the teary eyes of her sister, she did not have the heart to do so.

"He must have his reasons to attack you. Did you not tell me that you trust him?" she asked softly as she kneeled in front of the chair, her sister was sitting on and crying her eyes out.

"I did! I was sure that he must be joking but he was not. I had seen how cold his eyes were when he attacked me and… I lost consciousness. I was sure that he had raised the dagger to stab me.
