The innocent smile on the face of the boy calmed Oli a bit. Her heart that was racing like crazy started to slow.

"You can keep it for yourself and your friends." she offered with a forced smile when the boy blinked but then shook his head.

"I have already given the cake to my sister. She is very happy. I do not need more." His face was so innocent and sweet that Oli felt tears forming in her eyes.

She was not the one who easily showed emotions. She herself did not understand why she was on the verge of crying but she shook her head again.

"It is okay, since you have picked them, they are now yours. You can have them." her trembling hands reached to pat his head but the boy was about to refuse again with an embarrassed look.

"You should take them since you deserve them Mikey, the gi.. Brother is being kind here. You should not reject goodwill." the boy stared at the man standing behind her and then nodded in the end.
