She slashed them one after another, inflicting deadly strikes on them as she moved. However, as more of their kind perished in Iris's hands, the more the bats became aggressive. She absorbed all the mana that seeped out from the dead ones, fueling her to continue her assault.

Iris couldn't think of anything but to kill all the bats before her. The labyrinth had no rules aside from being the survival of the fittest. The more darklings and opponents she defeated, the more she could absorb mana. It was the same for the young wyvern accompanying her.
