Some time earlier...
In an entirely different place from the Solar System, a massive fleet was moving through space. Jets of flames streamed behind this fleet that consisted of various motherships and other warships. This was no human fleet, but a Xenon fleet!
The fleet was slowly sailing through the dark expanse of a star system that neighbored the Solar System.
At this moment, a burly person, with gray skin that had strange, black, crack-like marks was hurrying through the hall that led to the bridge of the flagship of this fleet. Wherever he passed, he would be greeted by respectful nods and salutes. It was quite obvious that he was a high ranking individual in this fleet. The blast doors that led into the bridge were quickly opened the moment he got to them, and he stepped in, making his way to a raised seat that resembled a throne in the middle of the massive room.
On that throne, a massive, four meter tall person who also had gray skin that was lined with crack marks was seated.
The man who just entered the bridge quickly went over, before descending on one knee to show his respect to the seated figure.
"Nagakin, you may speak." The seated figure grunted.
"Commander Grokus, I have come with news from our human informants. Admiral Gustavo and his fleet has departed the Solar System and headed for the frontlines. We are now able to carry out our plans without any major hindrances." Nagakin spoke.
"Good. Activate the jump drive. Set course, the Solar System." Grokus' red eyes sparkled with sickening glee

Back in the Solar System...
Moses grinned as he disembarked from Hex, slowly floating down to the deck. How happy he was that he could finally just disembark from his mech now and did not have to stand out too much again. Of course, that was only relative.
"Didn't know you could do that." Richard threw his arm over Moses' shoulders.
"Neither did I, but I guess I can now." Moses replied, taking a proper look at Hex from the outside for the first time. He had seen footage of his battle partner before, but this sight was still a new one to him. Looking at footage and experiencing it in real life were two different things. The psychological pressure a twenty five meter tall war machine exerted on an individual was quite something, especially for unique machines like Paladins.
(A/N: I will be adjusting the heights of the mechs and Paladins. They were too small before.)
Just as they turned around to approach their comrades, a loud alarm suddenly began blaring through the hangar bay. Moses turned around, his eyes wide as he looked around.
"What's going on?!" Richard was equally as confused. They quickly made their way over to where Manuel, Anthony, and Bethany were. The older pilot had a grave look on his face as he looked at his four juniors.
"Follow me." He told them and stepped on a floater platform. The platform lifted up and quickly zipped off into the deeper parts of the frigate. The others did the same and followed after him, soon arriving before the blast doors that sealed off the bridge of the starship. After a mandatory identity check, they were allowed to enter the bridge. There, they saw William standing beside the captain of the frigate, looking at the large view screen that gave them a view of what was happening in space.
"Is it what I think it is?" Manuel asked as he walked closer.
"Indeed. Unauthorized jumps into the Solar System. They are pretty close, and our buoys have picked up hundreds of ships." The captain nodded and replied Manuel. He was a middle aged man with a full beard. A scar ran across the bridge of his nose, and his full eyebrows were curved into a frown.
"I have already requested immediate backup from the base, and the surrounding asteroid bases. The fighters, bombers, and gunships are being deployed. The few frigates we have should be able to hold on until the reinforcements from the planet base arrive." He continued with a grim tone.
"Any idea what kind of ship classes the enemy will be deploying against us?"
The captain sighed deeply. "Our radars detect the signatures of at least a hundred fighters. Everything else surpasses the scale of a bomber."
Manuel and William's faces contorted at that news. That meant that aside the fighters. Nothing less than Gunship class starships would be deployed by the enemy. The casualty rate of this battle would most likely be high.
As the captain spat orders through the communication channel of the frigate, the starship sailed back to a large asteroid that had been modified into a base. There, a much larger starship was docked.
Moses gazed at the projection of this starship with sparkling eyes. On the pitch black exterior of the starship, its name was branded on it with silver lettering, reading 'Stellar Chaser'.
Noticing Moses' stare, William raised his hand and introduced the starship.
"This is the Stellar Chaser, the most powerful starship that has been assigned to Pluto. She is our largest, and most destructive Destroyer on hand at the moment, and while there are several more Destroyers deployed here, none of them can match up to her firepower, range, defense, and other features. The government has put a lot of resources into her construction and maintenance." He said with a proud smile on his face. Not even the attacking aliens could squash the pride he felt at the moment.
The frigate they were in slowly docked and they proceeded to get off and make their way over to the kilometer long starship. Its hangar bay was open, and hundreds of people were rushing about to bring her up to her prime before launching into space and waiting for the enemies to arrive.
