"WHAT are you reading, darling?"

Liane smiled when Rino entered her bedroom.

She was sitting on the bed and leaning against the headboard while reading a book related to when her husband arrived.

"I'm just reading about the history of some old families in our empire," Liane said. She couldn't talk about Rino regarding the things that threatened her safety recently. However, aside from that, she could hold normal conversations with her husband. "But I can't find what I'm looking for."

"What are you looking for?" Rino asked, then he sat beside her while wrapping an arm around her waist. He kissed her on the forehead before he spoke. "There are old families that were purposely removed from history. However, as the emperor, I was taught histories that do not exist in books. I can share them with you."

"That would be lovely," she said. "But is that really alright?"

"Why not? You're the empress, Liane."
