Capítulo 49: Kidnapped

" What a date? Are you out of your mind?" Nick was so stunned after hearing Marcus' suggestion that he nearly jumped out of his chair and sent a hurl of abuse if he wasn't in public. Face flushing he looked at Marcus, " We..she and I are not like that all right?" 

" I know," said Marcus as he finished the last of his food clean. " But friends go on a date as well, don't they? And maybe if you take her out, then her mood will be refreshed as well. Isn't it the death anniversary of her friend? Then Vanessa needs an outing more than anyone, take her out, change her mood and then you can apologise to her again, that way you wouldn't have to sigh like this." 

" But—-"

"No buts, go and ask her," said Marcus as he kicked Nick on the shin. " She is living so go quickly and be done with it, all right?"
