"What if I am actually under Amanda?" he asked after a while.

Heather chuckled, though no longer the sarcastic one she had been using since a while ago.

Her eyes were clear, there is no doubt within them.

She trusts him that he was not under Amanda. And it wasn't only lip service, she believes him whole heartedly.

She shrugged, "I've heard that a lot."

He chuckled, gone was the anger or the prejudice. At this moment, he felt like he could truly trust this person.

"Fine, do as you please. Here's my contact number, personal. When the time comes call for me," he stood up while leaving a piece of paper where he jotted his number down.

"And when that time comes, I will explain everything to you," she answered.
