Capítulo 42: "I really have become a lunatic now!"

"Get well soon?"

Jerrod repeated the last thing Bucket told him before they ended their conversation. It was also his first time hearing Bucket speak hesitatingly. He wondered if this current issue was tough even for a competent person like Bucket.

He just shrugged off the iffiness he felt for Bucket and thought more about Larissa.

"Hmm? Maybe her phone got confiscated."

He tried to call Larissa's phone, but it was only ringing. There was nothing he could do but wait. He only wishes that Larissa would be free as soon as possible.

He closes his eyes to rest, but he abruptly opens them again.

"Shit. I can't even worry about her properly." he shouted.

The image of the ghost transforming into the identical appearance of Larissa brought back the terror he experienced. He still cares for Larissa, but the connection between Larissa and the ghost is making him feel terrified of Larissa, too.

"What am I supposed to do?" he mumbled.
