All that read on the display was question marks. Joshua wondered if it was because she was a synthetic life form or if she was just so powerful that he couldn't see her stats.

"Scan." Joshua said, looking at Skel this time.

"Seriously?" He said. "Why can I not see your stats?"

"What are you talking about?" Skel asked. "What stats?"

"You know… Like your level." Joshua said.

"Level?" Skel asked. "Kid are you feeling okay?"

"So there must not be levels in the universe you are from, that must be why the spell isn't working." Joshua said. "Also, please refrain from calling me kid. You have been doing it since I met you."

"Right, because you are the big bad demon lord." Skel said. "I'm sorry in my eyes, all I see is a kid."

"Captain, am I still fighting?" Veronica asked.
