Capítulo 156: My gift for you

Once Bai Liyue was seated in the car, Qin Yufeng drove past the big gates of the Chen Mansion. Bai Liyue turned to stare at him. She fidgeted in her seat, biting her lips wanting to ask something but didn't know how to begin. 

Qin Yufeng noticed her stare and the corners of his lips curled into a smile. "What is it, love? What do you want to ask?"

"Why did you come back?" she questioned. 

"Well... I brought a present for you. I wanted to give it to you but forgot to and hence, I returned," he answered. 

Bai Liyue narrowed her eyes. "What present?" she asked and then continued after releasing a long sigh. "Qin Yufeng, if it's a necklace matching your ring then, I don't want it..." she stressed. 

Qin Yufeng chuckled. "I didn't bring you a necklace but if you want, I can give it to you."

"No thanks!"

Qin Yufeng looked at her sideways and smiled amusedly. "Bai Liyue, are you even a woman?"

"What do you mean?"
