Arabella's POV

"Anika, there is something I want to tell you," I said after her father left for office.

"Yes, what is it, Ara?" She excitedly asked while I found it hard to tell her about my plan for the day. I had already requested permission from Tyler, but it is Anika. I am more worried about her feelings.

We should take baby steps, but I know it would be hard on Anika.

"I plan to take you somewhere today," I answered, and I could see her excitement as she looked at me.

"At the beach?" She asked, and I shook my head.

"No, but it would be more fun if we went to Azure park, Anika," I said, and her face saddened.

"At the park where children used to play?" She asked, and I nodded my head.

"Yes, my dear, do you trust me?" I asked, and I could see the reluctance on her face as she bobbed her head.
