"Oh my goodness! Is that an engagement ring, Ara?" Hazel asked when we saw each other the following day, after Tyler proposed to me, and I still couldn't believe I was now engaged at eighteen to the most popular player on the island. However, despite his reputation, I still said yes because I am the only one who knows the real Tyler Edgebright, and they don't know the real him, and I don't quickly get discouraged. Besides, I am sure he was in love with me.

"Yes, Hazel, I am now engaged to Tyler," I responded with a beautiful smile on my face, and my best friend was screaming, and I was laughing as I saw her reaction when I handed her my hand, and she looked so happy as she stared my ring.
