An unexpected occurrence played out right in the town square, before a crowd of gaping onlookers.
'How dare you... raise a weapon on the child...?' Neveah's wolf thought, rage surging through her veins and setting them alight with the intense desire to spill blood.
A wolf was a wild and savage being, Neveah had never fully understood that until this moment when she was stuck in the back of her own mind.
Like a secondary being in her own body, unable to control her thoughts and actions because all of these were being controlled by her other half... the beast within.
Somehow, her wolf's rage had been triggered...a rage so intense, one would think Neveah was faced with her greatest enemies.
And now, Neveah's wolf had seized control and would not return it back to Neveah.
