The next day, the steps were already gone by the time Elle left the spare key with Jamenique and got that doctor's note from her to email to her boss. They wouldn't be back until the day the cruise ended so it was going to be tight making it home but if she made it back after them, she could pretend to be coming off a long shift. That would work.

To be safe, she brought her uniform to change into and had plans to hide her suitcase with Cherry and pick it up later if necessary. Everything was going to be fine!
