***JAKE'S POV***

In a flurrying and blurry rush of movement, Gostanna threw herself at Alex. She was intent on taking on the target that she thought was the biggest threat to her. And I had to say that I understood why.

Setting aside the fact that they were all predators, they were all different sizes and species. The Moon Wolves, while strong, were noticeably smaller than the bears and the felines that I had come across.

I am not saying that all the bears and felines were bulging with muscles like a bodybuilder or something like that, but they just looked bigger and stronger. The Wolves were tall, but still shorter than me. The Jaguars that we had passed were a little taller and stronger looking than the Wolves had been. And following that train of thought, the Herbivores all looked shorter and more delicate. They were definitely not very strong.
