Capítulo 116: The Campsite Part 8

***ALEX'S POV***

I had been a little disoriented after I had that explosion happen inside of me. I had thought that I was going to die. That I was just going to collapse on the ground right then and there and die.

That wasn't what happened though. I seemed to come to with only a couple of seconds having passed since Jake was attacked. He was still crying out in pain, but I was here to help him. And I felt so much better right now.

I was seeing more clearly as well. It was like I was able to see every little movement that the men were making as they tried to get to Jake. They were trying to dig their fingers into his arms and legs and rip him again. They were also hitting him and kicking him. I could smell blood in the air, and I knew that it was Jake's. that just enraged me even more. They were hurting him. They were going to kill him, if I didn't stop them.
