Capítulo 46: Getting To Know The New Environment

***ALEX'S POV***

Now that the light was shining brightly throughout the room, I thought it would be best to quickly acclimate myself with my surroundings. I was going to be seeing a lot of this place, so I might as well learn the lay of the land now. 

I saw that there were several large stained glass windows that would have been beautiful when lit up with daylight. They had patterns of birds, flowers, and beautiful meadows on them. There were tapestries that were woven of different colors all over the walls. There was a bookcase filled with thick volumes. Two armoires were sitting opposite each other in the room, likely to hold my clothing. There was a chair in front of something that looked like a vanity, and a table that would be good for writing or having meals at. The walls were made of stone with wooden support beams showing at certain points. And the floor was likewise stone, covered in a few different thick rugs.
