Capítulo 41: Returning To The Castle

***ALEX'S POV***

I had just done something that I never expected to do. Well, not with someone that I barely knew. I expected that at some point in my life, I would decide to do this with someone. I just didn't think that it was going to be right now. I didn't know what had come over me. Was it the story that was influencing me like this? Was it just that I felt more free? I know that I had asked myself this already, but I felt like it needed to be restated again. Why had I done this?

Oddly enough, though, I didn't regret it at all. I was actually happy that I had been with Jake. Maybe it was because he was a character in the story. Maybe because he wasn't real and would never truly be able to hurt me. Maybe it was for a million other reasons. I didn't know the exact reasoning behind it, so all I could do was sit here and speculate about it.
