"The Demon King..."

Latia's words echoed through the throne room and entered my ears; however, instead of doing the cliche several steps back and an audible gasp, I simply looked at the 15 feet tall man who was sitting on the throne, his head resting on his fist while his eyes lazily landed on the pair of us.

"Don't worry too much. He might be called the demon king, but he isn't the real demon king. He is an avatar that the world chose to use as a part of the dungeon. The real demon king probably doesn't even know about-"

"You're here, right?" I cut off Latia and asked straightforwardly. At the same time, I could see Latia's brow twitch from the corner of my eyes, but his expression quickly changed when a different voice echoed in the room.

"Your senses are quite acute for someone in the ethereal stage." The demon king's lips parted as a deep raspy voice left it and made Latia visibly shudder

"Gaia sent you here." I asked with a raised brow.
