In the Alchemy Seekers Hall, Ezra Zephyr sat in front of the last Diamond Qualdron.

Even though the strength Ezra had displayed during the diamond belt selection allowed him to be placed in the middle rankings of the diamond belt disciples, he rejected the position Elder Lo had arranged for him. Instead, he chose to be placed last in the Diamond Belt.

To many disciples, one's seat represented one's rank and status. However, this was not very important to Ezra Zephyr. In his eyes, the position of his seat did not matter as long as he could become a diamond belt disciple.

Furthermore, choosing the last seat allowed him to appease some of the other disciples, and prevent them from feeling that he was too overbearing, though he currently did have the qualifications to be so.

This was how people were at times. When you have strength but choose to take a step back, others will feel that you are humble and kind, making them have a favourable opinion of you.
