Electricity streaked- and in a blink of an eye, we raced through the floors- arriving at the designated floor without any delay.
Yeah, no wonder they didn't just fly up-
Who'd spend ten minutes flying that high when they could do it in a matter of seconds?
Efficient!
The top floor-
Or rather the 996th floor, was also pretty bland.
But something separated this floor from the others.
Namely, this floor didn't have people.
Just some doors.
And a long, long ass hallway- straight.
"These are the chambers of the demigods."
"Their personal lodgings? But-"
"You said you wanted to speak with all of them, didn't you?" I hadn't really noticed much but the guy was always floating, not standing on his feet even once.
Why the hell was this guy looking at me with so much nostalgia though?
Or rather-
Hatred…
Hmm…
"You said your name was Arachail, correct?"
"Indeed."
So-
I was supposed to have a break about now.
But since this book is going on for a while and would probably run for at least another month or so- I'd been slacking off- I mean taking frequent breaks.
Meanwhile, A&D offered me a contract and I kind of took it and my fifth novel (The MC Is the undying queen of this immoral world) has been (ongoing) published under them. Considering how it's a total shift in character, I don't think I need a break now.
Besides, I'm broke right now and if that book becomes a hit, well, you know-
If you do have some time, do check it out, leave a review, or something.
Anyway, as always, thanks for reading, and have a nice day.
