Capítulo 288: If Li Hua dies

Kang Xi and Kang Huijuan got off the horse carriage as they arrived at the imperial palace. Kang Xi bowed to see Lóng Wei and asked his son to do the same. Unwillingly, Kang Huijuan greeted Lóng Wei, who smiled at him. 

"It seems Prince Lóng Wei was waiting for us," Kang Xi said, rubbing his hands together in nervousness. 

"Yes. Today, the King will announce the punishment for Kang Huijuan. I must save him, No?" Lóng Wei was having fun with his reactions. He applied the salts to his wounds to burn him with anger. 

"Thank you, Your Highness. I am grateful for your benevolent kindness," Kang Xi said with a wide smile. They started to walk towards the imperial court when Lóng Wei told him to return his favor in the court. 

"What do I have to do?" Kang Xi inquired. He was ready to help Lóng Wei in every way.
