"What happened to him?" Jace came close to her, grabbing the boy from her arms.

Quickly they moved him to the enclosed room, away from the prying eyes of the other patients. They did not want the other people in the room alerted of what was happening to the boy.

Without a doubt, that would cause panic and fear among them. After all, these people were merely humans who had no idea they were living amongst supernatural beings with extraordinary powers.

"I found him and Amaira in the woods. It seemed he had been experiencing the blackouts for some time now. The other night was not the first time." Avana explained what she had discovered from Amaira.

The doctor quickly lay the boy down on the bed and checked for his vital signs. He also inspected him for any physical injuries, but she already knew he only had some scratches on his skin, nothing serious.
