Capítulo 284: - The Lernaean Hydra (3)

Being taken by surprise, Gus looked up at the thing that was holding him down. Thoughts crossed his mind as to what it could be, with the ideas ranging from more heads to something as threatening as some bits of the rubble that had been dislodged and thrown around as a result of the Hydra's emergence. But none of the things that he considered were anywhere near correct.

"A crab?" he muttered in disbelief. "Why the hell is there a crab here? What's the point of that?"

*In the second labour of Hercules, in an attempt to sabotage him and cause him to fail, the goddess Hera sent a giant crab to interfere with the hero's efforts. Following the battle, it is said that the goddess raised the crab into the sky, forming the Cancer constellation of stars seen in Earth's night sky.*

'So it was always going to be here, then. I guess this must be the surprise of this labour, much like the lion's pelt was the surprise of the last one.'
