"Did the others get there alright?" Gus asked, climbing into the shuttle and sitting next to the pilot, leaving the space behind to the survivors of the facility.

"They did. But I had to leave the area, there was a pretty big swarm of… of something coming in," the pilot responded. "They almost certainly saw me, but I made it away without a scratch. They should be alright for now, but I can take you to them once we get these up to the Hringhorni if you want me to."

"I trust them to be able to fight off some of the Bloody Dawn," Gus responded. "We'd better get these back to the ship, you're right to prioritise that." Hopefully, they had been able to rescue a lot of people from the mining base. More than they would be able to fit within the shuttle with those that Gus had rescued, too.
