Capítulo 116: - Assassination

Once again, Gus pressed forward and continued his assault. His confidence grew with every step he took, as he saw the fear in his opponent's eyes and gorged himself on the feeling of inflicting that fear.

He swung his sword as he advanced, forcing Astimiron to scramble away or block the blows with his daggers. The attacks that he missed forced Gus off balance, but he managed to remain on his feet and continue his attack. The attacks that he did connect with, however, managed to have a noticeable impact.

The ones that Astimiron managed to block drove his blades away, and one was even knocked out of his hand as he scrambled to protect himself. Those that he was unable to block that were still on target, he took onto his armour. With each blow that struck Astimiron's armour, it became more and more compromised. Cracks formed in some parts, while others outright shattered and fragments dropped from the armour.
