He was stunned. "Wait. Nobody forced her. She wanted it too."

"That's where I am saying that you are wrong. You 'think' that you gave her a choice but actually you didn't. Not consciously. You one-sidedly declared your future with her. Everybody was excited to see you two together, and when she saw so many people favoring one thing as she was growing up, her mind was inclined to believe that this was her only choice, or that this was the only right thing to do.
