Capítulo 288: Awake

Meanwhile, somewhere far away from where the humans lived. On a secluded private island hidden in a row of very old green trees, a man who had been living in a coma for almost a year with the help of a medical device suddenly managed to open his eyes for the first time.

The thing that woke him up was a very loud buzzing sound in his ears. It pierced his ear so hard that it managed to stimulate the function of his brain that had been biologically dead for months.

He could only see a bluish light as he blinked his eyes several times. That place was very narrow. When he tried to move his arms and legs, he couldn't. It wasn't because he was paralyzed or anything, but because something seemed to be holding his body.

"Where am I?" His mind was full of questions. His forehead frowned when his heart suddenly beat faster than before.
