He walked a little way and looked at the massacre that had taken place and, among all the blood, organs and lifeless bodies, stood that child, looking at the blood on his hands and daggers without saying a word.
He came a little closer, this made Toru aware of his presence, so he turned to see who it was.
'...'
Yamato sighed heavily.
Toru's eyes, that blue glow like the sky, was now accompanied by a red circle surrounding the pupil, accompanying the organic X spinning inside his eye. Blood covered his clothes and the look on his face showed no guilt for what he had done.
"Let's go back to the village" Yamato said, but Toru returned his gaze to the ground and said nothing.
Rather, he shook the daggers to remove the blood on them and using one of the bandages on his arms, tried not to leave any blood residue on the metal.
"Then that's how it will be. Well, so be it."
Observing Toru's gesture, he quickly deduced that he had no intention of returning.
He had killed over a hundred people in one day, this on top of the crimes he had been accused of. He sighed again at the thought of all that his student had done, for, if what Tsunade told him was true, there was nothing more he could do to refuse.
He was sent here with one objective and two options.
Follow him and capture him... or kill him.
He clenched his fists tightly and then walked slowly. He quickened his pace and began to run in Toru's direction until he disappeared into thin air, reappearing in front of him, charging a punch with the minimum of his strength, but then....
Toru leaned back, dodging the punch easily.
The lifeless expression on his face made Yamato remember again how this all started. That time where Toru seemed to be a living dead unable to speak.
'What my eyes see is... different. It's as if I could see a second of the future. I could see Yamato-sensei's punch before he made it.'
However, Toru felt different than normal. He felt a strange sensation in his eyes, as if someone was sticking sharp needles into his eyeballs. He felt... his eyes were something strange.
Sharingan, the eye that reflects feelings. Byakugan the eye capable of seeing everything around him. So what is the Shigan really, what are these eyes that Toru has? That strange power, the color of the sky and blood... What does it mean?
Eyes that perceive death more beech than anyone will ever see, eyes that see the very existence of things in the form of golden lines and red dots. But it could be said that these eyes do not see, but "observe" everything on a higher level. Death, which is normally invisible to any normal person, for Toru is something more than visible, it is something he can feel even if his eyes are gouged out, since, by perceiving the end of things, it could be said that he is observing the Root of everything. Toru observes the world... with the eyes of a god.
Yamato stepped back, for it was strange that Toru dodges his blows, as he was able to confirm this in his training before the final test of the chunin exams. Even if he is faster, his reaction speed was not as high as his.
"Sensei... if you want to capture or kill me, with that strength you won't succeed, did you forget who I am? Now you call me a criminal, it's your duty as a Jounin to capture and kill criminals."
As the rain continued, Toru's eyes shone through his hair. Slowly the blood began to drain from his clothes and a sigh escaped his mouth.
Yamato didn't respond, just looked up at the sky as the rain poured down relentlessly.
'I don't have that much chakra left, my arms hurt and I feel tired. This situation is not the most favorable for me, besides my opponent is Yamato-sensei, there's no way I can beat him, but it's because of things like this that I have to leave... sacrifice something, in exchange for something, I... must fight. However, I can't use Shakuton combined with Imbuing, that will only increase the chakra expenditure, I'll faint before I can hit him..."
The sound of water droplets hitting the ground was the only thing that could be heard, as the silence of these two ninjas was never going to be broken. Slowly they lowered their gazes and their eyes met. Master vs Pupil, Mokuton vs Shakuton....
Yamato quickly clasped his hands together and concentrated his chakra.
Toru saw this... he could see the chakra going to Yamato's hands and feet. He realized which Jutsu he was going to use by the amount of chakra used. So he started to run around him at superhuman speed, avoiding the jutsu could get to hit him, but it was his master he was fighting against, this won't be easy.
"Mokuton: Shichūrō no Jutsu [Wood Style: Four Pillar Prison" Yamato said.
Then, he opened his eyes as he saw that the ground was changing. Four wooden walls came out of the ground quickly, completely enclosing him in a huge wooden box.
Yamato, seeing that his jutsu had worked, approached slowly, as he thought this was easily over, but....
Boom!
The wooden prison broke into pieces easily due to Toru's eyes and daggers, which acted together to break as many death lines as possible, allowing him to break through the wooden walls and chakra with ease.
Toru obviously knew that Yamato is a Jounin experimenting, so a single wooden jutsu was not going to be enough.
And he was not mistaken, as his teacher appeared behind him, coming out of the ground as if his body had become the root of a tree. He raised his arm in an attempt to throw a punch, but Toru dodged it again with ease.
It was as if his eyes allowed him to see a second into the future, not only that, he could also see the chakra in Yamato's body as he performed a jutsu. He felt that, just by watching his master fight, he could see his movements as if he was seeing the future as secondary images in his field of vision.
One after another, Toru evaded all the punches and kicks. Yamato narrowed his eyes and took his distance again. On the one hand he felt disappointed in his student for all the things he has been accused of, but on the other hand, he should not hold back when fighting, for in front of him is the criminal Tsunade, the Fifth Hokage, ordered him to capture or kill. He was a Jounin, this was just his job and Toru did not seem to have a grudge against him.
'This is an empty fight...'
He looked at Toru again as he connected the seals on his hands. After that, he punched the ground , something that caused roots to start coming out from the latter, turning into a kind of cannon.
"Mokuton: Mokuzai Shuriken [Wood Style: Wooden Shuriken]"
From the cannon, dozens of shuriken made of wood shot out. Toru's eyes widened as he realized that the shuriken were covered with thorns, so, using Shigan to see through existence, he was able to foresee the trajectory of each of the shuriken.
So, with the help of the daggers, he dodged and blocked each of Yamato's shuriken, but as expected from someone like Yamato, the attack did not end there.
"Mokuton: Jumoko Toge."
Large roots came out of the ground, which moved with intentions of crushing Toru, but using his speed, he moved backwards avoiding it, but....
'No...'
His eyes saw it too late. The chakra in Yamato's feet ran all over the battlefield until it was under his own feet, that meant, he used the first branches to make his eyes focus on one thing only. This led him to seize his chance, so the roots came out of the ground and wrapped around Toru's body and then....
"Ahhhh!"
Large thorns came out of the roots and stuck into his body, causing him great pain that stimulated his brain, causing his mind to react to the danger.
The bright light of destruction illuminated Toru's entire body, causing the roots to completely incinerate.
"Shimikomaseru: Hi no Karada [Imbuing: Body of fire]"
With a heavy breath, Toru looked at his master while his body was still illuminated by Shakuton.
He was in a great deal of pain, but thanks to this jutsu that sacrificed much of his chakra, the thorn wounds were sutured, preventing bleeding out.
"Sensei... you are stronger than this..."
The flames on Toru's body extinguished, revealing that his clothes were a bit singed. His clothes would have disintegrated had he not chosen a fabric resistant to high temperatures.
'If I use any more chakra, I'm likely to end up fainting. Ha~ this somehow makes me feel like garbage. Yamato-sensei... What does he think of me right now? What will Ino and Hinata think of me when they find out what's going on? I'm afraid that they will come to hate me... it terrifies me to think about it, I've never felt like that before. Since all this started, I saw Ino as a nuisance and Hinata as someone I didn't want to relate to again, but as time went by I... changed my mind. It's nice to be with them, it's nice to be together in a team with Yamato-sensei. They are all important to me, I thought... that I could forget the past and live happily, just like my mother wanted..."
He took a step forward while holding the daggers tightly. Yamato stood on guard, as he prepared to use another jutsu.
Just then, Toru remembered something.
(Okaa-sama, why do you allow my father to treat you like that?)
She just sighed and answered right away.
(Because love makes fools out of people).
Love makes fools of people, that's what Toru's mother said... with a bright and full of life smile on her face. That memory still lingered in his mind, a memory he thought had been erased from his mind until he discovered the truth behind the massacre of the Asahi clan.
He disappeared from Yamato's sight, appearing behind him again.
He raised his arm with the intention of stabbing him, but a large pillar rose up from the ground, striking him in the stomach and rising into the air. Blood spurted from his mouth due to the organs that were damaged in the attack.
As he was suspended in the air, he looked at Yamato, saw the expression on his face.
He smiled bitterly, as he never thought to see that kind of expression on his sensei's face, an expression of disappointment....
'My happiness... Is it something that can never be fulfilled?"
Closing his eyes, Toru let himself fall into the void.
'I wonder if Okaa-sama would be disappointed if he saw me in this situation. Would he have the same expression Yamato-sensei has right now? 'I... with all the things I've been through so far, this life and my past life, it makes me feel like the World hates me.'
Boom!
The loud rumble caused by Toru's falling body echoed through the place. Accompanied by the droplets of water falling relentlessly, he looked up at the sky and saw the waning moon among the weeping clouds drenching the earth.
Slowly he rose from the ground with his eyes downcast.
"If I'm going to fight sensei for real, then I'll have to bring out my best jutsu."
Looking at Yamato with a small smile, he clasped his hands together as he took a big breath of air, at the same time, the X in his eyes quickly spun to a screeching halt.
"Fūton: Daitoppa [Wind Style: Great Rupture]"
He expelled the large blast of air, which was about to hit Yamato, but the result was obvious.
A wooden wall rose up and resisted the wind attack. This made him close his eyes as he sighed, but for a moment he forgot that he was fighting Toru, someone who usually plays dirty when it comes to fighting.
He realized it too late, when Toru was already behind him.
"¡¿?!"
Blood splattered on Toru's face and hands, at the same time, Yamato let out a small whimper of pain.
Reacting shortly after being stabbed, he concentrated chakra on his back, which turned into wood. Taking advantage of this, he caused the thorns to rise, stabbing Toru in the stomach and arm, which forced him back while using Shakuton to stitch the wounds.
Unfortunately, the chakra drain was too excessive, so much so that his vision began to blur. He watched the blood fall to the ground like a waterfall, while drops of water washed away the dirt on his clothes.
He staggered because of this and then looked down at his daggers. There it was, the blood of his master. He asked himself why he didn't kill him at that moment, for with Shigan, he could have easily done it, but... he just couldn't, he buried the dagger in Yamato's back with his eyes closed, so he didn't know if he cut a line of death.
Yamato held his shoulder in pain and watched the blood fall.
Slowly, Toru put the daggers away. This was no longer about running away, he just... wanted to train with his master one last time before he left.
This last action of Toru's made Yamato's eyes widen in disbelief.
Toru raised his fists, demanding a fight with no weapons and no jutsu. Simply the fists would do the talking in this last fight, this last training.
'I understand...'
He raised his guard as well, and the two approached at the same time. They disappeared into thin air and reappeared, double punching each other in the face. The force of the blow caused a small draft to blow in place, and even though he felt weak and sore, he decided to continue fighting.
His chakra was already almost non-existent, as in a second the Shigan was deactivated due to this lack of energy.
Both continued with the exchange of blows. One after another, the sound of Toru's body being hit without stopping resounded along with the drops of water that continued to fall.
Both had an expressionless face at this moment, both had their eyes on a single target that they wished to reach. That was why their fists decided to settle this matter.
Bam!
Toru was sent to the ground due to being punched in the head. He rolled on the ground to a stop, and when he got up, he felt a red liquid fall into his eye, for at this moment he realized... he was weak.
Yamato had too much strength, something that was unable to rival against Toru's speed, but this was only getting worse, as his speed has already been drastically decreased due to his injuries and lack of chakra. This was a losing fight.
He tried to stand, but his body did not respond as he wanted it to.
'I'm in pain... I think my arm broke when I fell. My legs are starting to give out and I can't stand anymore. My vision is limited and I have wounds all over my body... the last time I was like this was in my fight against Okamitsuki... that happened days after the third test of the chunin exam. Oh... fufufu... kukuku...'
A smile formed on Toru's mouth.
Yamato looked at this with a frown.
"Fufufufu... Kukuku... Hahaha! Hahahahaha!"
Toru was laughing out loud while trying to stay conscious. That memory that had come to his mind brought him quite a few things to think about, this at last opened his eyes. This memory of the chunin exams.
"Hahaha... I'm sorry. It's just, I remembered something..."
Yamato not tending to what he was referring to. Possibly the mental stress hurt him and that's why he was acting that way, but it was quite the opposite.
He looked up at the sky with a nostalgic smile and sighed. The raindrops made his hair cover part of his face, which made it difficult to tell what kind of expression he had, although it wasn't that hard to tell from the smile on his mouth.
"Sensei... do you remember that time after the survival test? No, obviously you don't remember because you weren't there, but you left someone in your place, a spokesman who took it upon himself to mention our weaknesses as a team, to team 11..."
Yamato's eyes widened at the memory. At this moment, right in front of him, at last... he realized that his student had believed.
"Heaven and Earth. You, for some reason, decided to keep my 'flaw' a secret. But now I know..."
Toru....'
"Love makes people idiot. That's why what I don't have, what I must get, what I need... is heaven, because I, Sensei, am a idiot."
When Toru looked at him, Yamato opened his eyes and was speechless. He saw that weird, quiet kid who joined his team more than six months ago. He saw how this situation, opened his mind, discovering himself, his own flaw.
He looked at the ground and clenched his fists tightly. He asked himself: What have I done? Seeing Toru with wounds all over his body and blood staining his clothes. He could barely stand, it seemed as if the slightest breeze was strong enough to knock him to the ground.
He regretted this, he felt guilty. He could not guide his student on the right path. Toru had sunk into an endless pit of darkness. Yamato... failed as a teacher.
He sighed one last time and turned away, he stood like that for a second before he started walking away from that place... away from his student.
"Sensei... thank you for everything..."
These words were like needles stabbing into Yamato's heart, who just looked at the ground with a blank expression on his face as he walked away.
Taking advantage of this, Toru touched his forehead, staining his hand with blood and, using the last drops of chakra, touched the ground to perform an invocation.
"Kuchiyose... no jutsu."
A small cloud of smoke appeared. Seconds later, a snow-white furred wolf showed itself. His crimson eyes widened as he saw Toru in a pitiful state.
"Toru-dono!"
"Oh, it's you... Your name was Okaminaru, wasn't it?" staying conscious, Toru smiled bitterly before continuing. "Take me away from here, as far away as you can."
"But why, what's going on? I don't understand, I don't know what's going on."
Okaminaru was confused. Out of nowhere he is summoned and the first thing he finds is Toru being on the verge of death, it was normal to have sudden thoughts if he had no context of the situation.
Still, he could see a man slowly walking away. Then, he growled and bared his fangs.
"Was it him, did he do this to you?"
Okaminaru's bloodlust could be felt in the air, but Toru stroked his head and sighed.
"It wasn't him. Ya... let's go..."
With his last breath, Toru fell onto Okaminaru's back. This made him panic, as he thought he had died, but then he knew he was only unconscious, so he sighed and, looking at the man walking away for the last time, Okaminaru started to run in some direction away from the human village.
-Days later-
It was night again. The moonlight softly illuminated the mountains and, amidst all this, two shadows showed themselves.
Watching the stars in the sky, he sighed heavily as he tried to endure the pain. His arm was broken and he had several wounds from short sharp objects on his body, he felt bad... mentally.
"I should have said it before, but... Okaminaru, your fur is very soft and comfortable. It makes the pain of my wounds lessen..." He said, feeling completely comfortable using the white fur wolf as a pillow.
"Hm... Thank you?"
Okaminaru didn't know what to think about this human. If he was strong enough to take on Okamitsuki, he should have no problem healing himself, but here they were, looking up at the sky leaning against a large mountain, and for some reason Toru was stroking his fur like it was nothing.
It had been three days since they left Konoha, and now Toru found himself thinking about what he would do next. He was now a wanted criminal by the ninja of his hometown. He was emotionally affected, he was tired of it all, he was tired of running away. A few hours ago they came across a search party, Root ninjas, this was obviously part of Danzo's plan.
If he wanted Toru's eyes, he had to find him first and, considering that now all of Konoha is against him, Danzo had the chance to kill him easily and without repercussions.
'Shimura Danzo... you are responsible for everything... Although I promised myself not to take the path of revenge, I have been forced into this. You have managed to separate me from the people I love, the people I care about the most. For me, this whole world can go to hell, I only care about what I love the most, and I will not let this happen again. I'm angry, I'm very angry, I hurt my teacher... but I wasn't strong-willed enough to kill him and I'm thankful that didn't happen. Hinata, Ino and Hanabi, I hope you won't try to look for me...'
He stood up, pulling one of the daggers out of his cloak. He held out his hand where he held the dagger and looked at it carefully, the dagger had blood on the blade.
'For my clan, for the people who gave me happiness, for my mother... for my self-satisfaction, I will make sure... that Danzo never sees the light of day again. Now, for the time being, I need to plan things well, this time there must be no failures.'
Watching the blood on the dagger, Toru smiled slightly as his hair covered one eye. At the same time, the light of death illuminated his face, the light of the Advanced Shigan.
Thanks to doing some research when he met Tsunade, he was able to discover something interesting. The person whose blood is on that dagger, Yamato, has a very interesting past with Orochimaru.
"I'll need a laboratory."
"Lab?" Okaminaru asked.
"You'll know when you see it, Okaminaru. For the time being, you can return to your village, I will summon you when I need your help."
"Now I'm curious... but if Toru-dono says so, there's nothing I can do. So, I'll see you tomorrow."
Okaminaru disappeared in a cloud of smoke, leaving Toru all alone in that place.
He gazed intently at the stars. Each one shone brightly, surely many of them had already ceased to exist, leaving only the light of their deaths, which would soon disappear completely, remaining forever in oblivion.

Somewhere far away where that great star known as the sun shines, life increases unimpeded. A place where mysteries await...
And while the sun shines, filling everything in its path with life, two little girls were playing happily next to a mysterious man with black hair and a vacant gaze. Two girls very similar in appearance, both with brown hair and aquamarine eyes. One of them had wavy hair tied in twin pigtails with wine-colored ribbons, while the latter had short shoulder-length hair.
They both laughed as they played, running back and forth, forcing the man to exert himself a little, but it was no use, he tired too quickly and fell back on the grass.
"Are you all right?" said the short-haired girl.
"You didn't hurt your back again?"
Approaching the man, they both looked at him with concern, well, the pigtailed girl worried in her own way. Still, for a second they heard their mother's voice calling them, so they grabbed the man by the hands and pulled him along with them.
"Come on, mom's calling us."
With a slight smile on his face, the man let the girls lead the way.

Present in that mountain of corpses, the sky turned golden, showing the sunset. Blood stained the battlefield and weapons, swords and spears, scattered all over the ground, piercing the fallen enemies and friends.
She fell to her knees at the sight of the carnage her decisions had caused. She clenched the hilt of her sword tightly as she tried to contain her feelings, but it was impossible....
"Everyone... I'm sorry... I'm sorry..."
Tears began to stream down her cheeks as she closed her eyes. The wind made his golden hair dance and the blood took the shine off his knight's armor.
Present at that sunset, she made a promise she could never keep.

In the middle of the vast ocean, the four great machines rose up to put an end to it and, in the midst of all this impending destruction, they looked each other in the eye.
Their silver hair moved to the rhythm of the wind while a smile formed on the mouth of the blindfolded boy.
"It was a pleasure working with you."
He held a black cube in his hand as he looked at the silver-haired, blindfolded lady. She did not respond, but also held another black colored cube in her hand.
They looked at each other as the giant machines prepared to crush them, but then... they both put the boxes together. After that, as the explosion began to devour their bodies, the boy smiled kindly.

The large buildings rose from the ground to touch the sky. The wind blew strongly causing her skirt to lift a little.
She observed everything from above, with a smile on her face. She felt at ease with the view this city gave her, so much so that she even felt like laughing, but she did not. She simply walked carelessly on top of the building.
Her skin was as white as porcelain, an extraordinary beauty. Her black hair was tied in two pigtails of the same length. Her right eye was the color of blood, while her left eye was a golden color and in it was a clock of inorganic appearance. A beauty in a black dress with crimson patterns and long boots with a butterfly-shaped ribbon, this outfit undoubtedly gave her a gothic lolita appearance.
She walked until she reached the edge of the building, from where she jumped off without a care in the world. Even so, the expression on her face did not change, she kept her smile and as she fell, she reached out her hand, trying to reach the stars in the night sky.
When she was about to touch the ground, the shadows swallowed her up without a trace of her existence.
-One year later
She descended from heaven as if she were an angel. The wind shook her cloak and her hair.
Toru did not know who this person was whose wings were so similar to those of a real angel, however, this was not a kind angel, for she looked down on him, as if he were nothing more than trash you might encounter on your way.
Still, Toru just looked at her with an emotionless face, as the light of the Advanced Shigan began its appearance.
